Camp Counselor Program participants have a Surprise Meeting Challenge – and they nailed it!

How to deal with unexpected events? Creativity can be a great tool. For that reason the Camp Counselor Program (YCCP) participants had a Surprise Meeting Challenge this Sunday Morning. And they totally nailed it!

Instead of doing the traditional Recreation as they’ve been doing on Sundays in the First Stage of the training, they were divided into groups and invited to create some activities – such as games, skits and songs – which were then led to the whole group of Counselors.

 “More than preparing them to be in a cabin with campers, we provide tools for them to become leaders who will easily solve problems and manage a big variety of situations”, explains Emanoela de Souza, Globe Trotter Executive Director.
